Back in May 2018 Nga tamariki worked with Woodland Escape to design our very own woodland forest classroom here at Geraldine Preschool.

Te Ngahere aims to foster Whanaungatanga (relationships), Manaakitanga (kindness /respect), and Kaitiatitanga (guardianship and protection) with nature through regular personal experiences.

We encourage the development of long-term environmentally sustainable attitudes and practices in tamariki (children), kaiako (teacher) and the wider community.
